वेटब्रिज लगवाना कोई साधारण काम नहीं है। एक छोटी सी गलती:

वजन गलत कर सकती है
load cells जल्दी खराब कर सकती है
पानी भरने की समस्या ला सकती है
लाखों का अतिरिक्त खर्च कर सकती है

Step 1: Site Selection - जगह का चुनाव

वेटब्रिज के लिए सही जगह चुनना सबसे पहला और सबसे जरूरी कदम है।

Factor	Requirement	Why It Is Important
Approach Road	कम से कम 50 फीट सीधी सड़क	ट्रकों के आने-जाने और सही alignment के लिए
Ground Level	आसपास के क्षेत्र से थोड़ी ऊंची जगह	पानी भराव से बचाव
Soil Condition	मजबूत मिट्टी, भराव वाली न हो	नींव मजबूत रहेगी और structure नहीं धंसेगा
Drainage System	पानी निकासी की उचित व्यवस्था	Load cells और foundation सुरक्षित रहते हैं
Electrical Supply	पास में बिजली कनेक्शन उपलब्ध	Indicator console, printer और lighting के लिए
Security	निगरानी / सुरक्षा व्यवस्था	उपकरण में छेड़छाड़ या चोरी से बचाव

Step 2: Foundation Design - नींव का डिजाइन

वेटब्रिज की नींव उसकी रीढ़ है। गलत नींव से पूरा वेटब्रिज बर्बाद हो सकता है।

Foundation Types:

Type	Best For	Specifications
Pit Type	जहां जगह कम हो और level ground चाहिए	गड्ढे (pit) के अंदर लगाया जाता है, प्लेटफॉर्म जमीन के बराबर रहता है
Surface Type	ज्यादातर सामान्य औद्योगिक स्थानों के लिए	जमीन के ऊपर लगाया जाता है, दोनों तरफ ramps बनाने पड़ते हैं
Pitless Type	जहां पानी भरने का खतरा हो	ऊंचा प्लेटफॉर्म, नीचे से हवा और पानी आसानी से निकल सकता है

Key Foundation Requirements:

Concrete Grade: M25 या उससे ऊपर
Reinforcement: 12mm - 16mm सरिया, double layer
Depth: मिट्टी के हिसाब से 3-5 फीट
Anchors: load cell लगाने के लिए पक्के anchors
Curing: कम से कम 21 दिन

Step 3: Drainage System - पानी निकासी

वेटब्रिज की सबसे बड़ी दुश्मन है पानी।

Drainage Requirements:

Foundation से 2% slope - पानी बाहर निकले
Platform के चारों तरफ drainage channel
Load cell areas में extra protection
Junction box के लिए watertight enclosure
Regular cleaning access

Poor drainage के नुकसान:

Load cells में नमी → खराब
Junction box में पानी → short circuit
Foundation कमजोर
Weight errors

Step 4: Load Cell Mounting

Load cells वेटब्रिज का सबसे संवेदनशील हिस्सा हैं।

Mounting Best Practices:

Step	Detail
Clean Surface	Mounting area बिल्कुल साफ और धूल-मुक्त होना चाहिए
Level Check	सभी mounting points एक ही level पर होने चाहिए
Torque Tightening	Bolts को recommended torque के अनुसार कसना चाहिए
Cable Routing	Cables को conduit / protective pipe में सुरक्षित रखें
Moisture Seal	Load cell और junction box को moisture-proof seal करें

Common Mistakes:

Uneven mounting → weight error
Overtightening → cell damage
Cable exposed → cut/damage
No seal → moisture entry

Step 5: Junction Box Installation

Junction box सभी load cells को जोड़ता है और console तक signal पहुंचाता है।

Junction Box Tips:

Waterproof enclosure (IP65 minimum)
Platform के पास लेकिन पानी से दूर
Cables को proper लेबल करें
Desiccant (silica gel) डालें नमी सोखने के लिए
Regularly check करें

Step 6: Console / Indicator Installation

Console वेटब्रिज का दिमाग है।

Console Placement:

ऊंचाई पर जहां ट्रक ड्राइवर देख सके
बारिश/धूप से बचाव
बिजली का पास में source
Anti-vibration mounting

Wiring:

Junction box से shielded cable
Proper grounding - voltage spikes से बचाव
Stabilizer use करें

Step 7: Calibration After Installation

इंस्टॉलेशन के बाद calibration सबसे जरूरी step है।

Calibration Process:

Zero Calibration: बिना load के zero set
Span Calibration: Known weights से test
Corner Testing: हर load cell अलग-अलग test
Linearity Check: अलग-अलग weights पर test
Repeatability Test: एक ही weight बार-बार

Legal Requirement:

बिना calibration के weighbridge use करना illegal है। UP Scales के पास Govt. Licence UP/190209013RD005 है और हम valid calibration certificate देते हैं।
